Christmas Gift Guide: Fashionista

Christmas gift guide, Fashionista gift guide, What to get someone who loves fashion
If my previous Christmas Gift Guide didn't help you in choosing a gift, here is another one which might. If you still haven't gotten all the Christmas presents you need, you still have the weekend so no need to panic yet. Here is my selection for someone who loves fashion.

This dress is absolutely gorgeous. If I had seen it earlier I would have bought it, but yea unfortunately I didn't but might buy it in the new year. The dress is a good length so you can wear it when going out with your bf/husband's parent, to your Christmas party at the office and so many more places. The color is great and the embellishment at the top is what does it for me, it looks so beautiful.

This is  cute bracelet, again I want one of these. The colors of the bracelet will look great basically on anyone. I love friendship bracelets and I think it would be great to give them to your friends. Giving it to your girl can signify that you aren't just lovers, you are friends as well. And that is the best type of love to have.

Now this is one lovely cardigan. It is gorgeous! And when I say gorgeous I mean the type that makes girls squeal... This cardigan will give any outfit the glamour you never imagined. I wish someone would include this in my present because imagine you are wearing jeans and a black blouse...With this on top, it would just look only about 100 times better. I love love love it and I am sure it isn't just me. Is it?

Statement necklaces... The very trendy accessory of 2012. I personally believe that this trend will stretch out to 2013 and as such any statement necklace will be a great present for your fashionista girl. This one I found looks gorgeous and will go wit most outfits.

The collar trend is still holding strong. This blouse is simple, yet stylish and I think it would look great with a blazer on top. During the summer, it can be worn with a black pleated skirt, shorts, coloured jeans and many other options.

Spikes/ Studs have hit the fashion world hard. Everyone is buying items in studs... Boots, Shoes, Cardigans, Bags, Clutches you name it. It is available studded! I personally recently studded my boots {picture available on my instagram: sunshinenia} and they look awesome!

Turquoise is one color that is so beautiful. It has this colourful but calm feel to it. The ring I have picked out is lovely and it looks great. Different shades of turquoise can be mixed with either silver or gold. This one is mixed with silver. I like the silver is not shiny, it makes it look much better.

Lace items are also one of those trendy items this season. Here is a knitted long sleeve lace top which would look lovely this winter season.

This is a set of rings which can be worn either all together or separated if you would like to wear them separately. These rings are in gold and would go with any outfit, just as long as you pick the right other accessories.

A stretchy bracelet. These are great for stocking fillers and would look great. Basically any jewelry would be great as a gift for a fashionista. We all like to look gorgeous.

We are having our work Christmas party later tonight so I am going to be partying till midnight and after that, I leave to Germany tomorrow. I cannot wait to see my little nephew and just have some time to myself.

I hope you all have a fab Christmas my lovelies, with all the presents you are wishing for.

Holly Jolly Holiday Tag

Hello my darlings! We are just 4 days away from Christmas eve and I am sure we are all excited. Some of us are running around trying to do some last minute shopping. Well, I hope you all get the things you are looking to buy.
I saw this tag from Nikki over at Confessions of a Makeup Addict and thought I would do it because it is a really quick post but holds a lot of information. You get to know a little more about my Christmas.
Image: weheartit edited by me
1. Do you start your Christmas shopping on Black Friday or wait until last minute?
Usually I start whenever I come up with what I am giving a specific person. I think one year I already had a present for someone in October. This year on the other hand has been really busy so I got most of the presents after Black Friday but I already knew what I wanted to get so it didn't take me that long. But I am 2 presents short at the moment. 1 I am not really worried about because I can get it a bit later, the other, I am panicked about because I have no idea what to get.

2. If you could be in any Christmas movie what would it be?
I haven't watched any Christmas movies this year, and I don't remember any off the top of my head at the moment... So let’s just make our own Christmas movie featuring me and all you lovely readers. :)

3. Which do you like better: Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
I like both. Actually I like the entire period from 24th Dec - 2nd January. But if I had to choose then Christmas day. I get to open presents and we usually have a fun day. Looking forward to it this year as well.

4. When does your family put up your Christmas tree and who decorates it?
Usually we have it up on the 1st of December and I usually do most of the decorating with some help from my husband and Candy my dog. But this year is different in many ways.

5. White lights or colored lights?
Coloured lights always! We usually get a huge tree so I use about 2 sets of lights.

6. Are you guilty of peeking at your presents or do you like surprise?
Well, if I knew where it was, I would probably peek because I am nosey like that... But I have absolutely no idea, so not peeking this year.

7. Would you rather live in a gingerbread house or Santa's Workshop?
I think Santa's workshop. I love DIYs even though I have less time for it with each month, so I think I would have fun there. Also I love candy and I think Santa's workshop looks gorgeous. {Obviously from movies and photos, haha}

8. Tell us your Christmas Eve traditions!
Traditions change when you move away from home, right now living in Latvia I don't think I have any traditions but since I have my husband now and someday we would have a family, I think it is time to build some. {Glad this questions is included, thank you to whoever made this... you have inspired me}

9. If you could be under the mistletoe with anyone, who would it be?
I would love to be under any mistletoe with my husband. If he isn't around then I would love to not be under the mistletoe but instead push some of my friends under it.

10. What tops your tree?
Usually a huge star. I am thinking of getting an Angel from now on.

I tag everyone reading this!
I think it is a really fun post and I would love to know more about my readers so leave your links in the comments if you do this Tag.

Have a fab day everyone.

Christmas Gift Guide: Gadget Girl

If you still haven't gotten a present for your girl, it's not too late. Sometimes it takes time to come up with the best present. You want her to like it, you want to show her you love her, you want her to have the best Christmas ever.
So, I decided to help you out a little and here are some of the options you can choose from. Of course it all depends on how much you are planning to spend.
Christmas gift guide, Christmas present ideas, Christmas ideas, Present ideas, What to give your girlfriend

1. Earmuff headphones
This is perfect for winter and sometimes autumn, depends where you live. Get something in a fun color like I picked out but also remember the colors she usually wears and what color her coats are.

2. iPhone 5
Ever since the iphone5 came out, I have seen quite a number of people getting it right away, I know the difference between the the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4s aren't that many, but a lot of girls like to have the latest in technology.

3. iPad 4
Tablets are a thing right now. The ipad is obviously one thing a lot of people like to get. If your girl spends a lot of time on the internet or is a fashion/beauty blogger, this would be great for her. She can make her posts on the go, which is totally awesome.

4. HD webcam
I know most people have webcams on their laptops, but sometimes it just isn't enough. If she already has the video feature on her cameras {I don't} then this may not do it for her. This is great if she wants to record youtube videos or if her parents live far away and she talks to them mostly on skype. The quality would be much better.

5. Cute iPhone cases
If you have a girly girl and she has an iPhone, then cute iPhone cases are an absolute must! Aztec print cases look lovely, just pick one that suits her colours more. The makeup case is also gorgeous. I have been lusting over it myself for a while now.

I hope this has helped you out a bit.

Monday Madness Blog Hop {#5}

Hello my lovelies and welcome back from a fab weekend. I hope you all had some time to relax and do something productive. Personally, I had a great weekend. Spent a lot of time with hubby, decided on what I am taking on my trip & had some nice relaxing time. It has been a while since I actually just relaxed like that.
So I was looking for something to share with you today and this just popped up. I think it is great to give some determination and drive to people.

Christmas Wishlist

Ahhh, I cannot believe I finally made my Christmas Wishlist. Kinda late though you think? But anyway, better late than never. I have been so occupied with getting presents for everyone that I totally forgot about myself. I did give my brother a few hints though because he just couldn't wait for me to be done with my list. haha. This Christmas I have decided to only ask for things I need because I am running out of places to keep all the things.
Christmas Wishlist, Chrsitmas Presents, What I want for Christmas, All I want for Christmas, Bags Electronics and Beauty products on Christmas

If you have seen my first youtube video "The About Me Tag" then you probably saw that the quality wasn't as good. When I started filming that video, I realized 1 of my cameras didn't have a video function and the other one had very low audio on it. Therefore, I was forced to use my laptop camera. It didn't come out quite as I expected and as such I think it is time to get a good HD Webcam. One of which I found was this Logitech C910 Webcam which from its features, seems like what I need. The functions include: Fluid 720p HD video recording and video calling in 16:9 widescreen, and dazzling 8 MP photos, One-click upload to Facebook and YouTube, 360° full motion rotational camera & fold-and-go portability, Auto light correction for dim and harsh lighting, and high-quality built-in noise-cancelling mic.

The zip on my current wallet is ruined. And as in Latvia we have a lot of coins, that isn't very comfortable. All the coins keep falling out into my bag and when I need them I can't find them. So, I need a new wallet basically last month. I have had a hard time finding one because I need one that has about 10-14 slips for cards {this is because I have way too many but I cannot leave any of them at home}, a section for cash and a zipped section for the coins. The Telulla Bag by Marc B seems to more or less fit most of my requirements.

A while ago, I got a gold watch with beige strap from Asos. Well, I wasn't impressed at all. After only a month, the gold on the watch had started to wash off even though I kept it away from water. Personally, I don't count on buying $40 watches every month so I was really disappointed. Now I have no watch to wear everyday and I really need a new one. So I found the Rose Gold Watch With Nude Strap and thought to give Asos watches a second chance {As I am a believer in 2nd chances}.
Basically what I want is a watch that is gold with a neutral strap which can go with most outfits since I will be wearing it daily. It could have studs around it, preferable not though because I believe those will fall out really fast.

While looking for a new watch, I found this adorable gift clock. I am a huge fan of Me To You. All their bears just drive me to a mushy state... I want every one of them. When I saw this gift clock, I obviously wanted it. I think it would great on my work table and always make me smile.

I have been craving for a Marc B Bag for a long time. I like quite a number of them from their online store, but unfortunately it seems they don't ship to where I live. So since I noticed that one of them which I like is available on Topshop, I though it would be great to get it. I love quilted bags, wallets and clutches. And this bag just totally does it for me. I love it!

I love the entire Lush store. I was there last week getting presents and just wanted to buy everything. It smells absolutely heavenly in there. I would love to get anything from there as a present on any occasion. Some of my favourites include Snow Fairy Shower Gel, Bubblegum & Popcorn Lip Scrub, Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly, Golden Wonder Bath Bomb, Grease Lightening Spot Treatment & Think Pink Bath Bomb.

This is my other favourite store. I can spend a while in there smelling all the different products they have. From the products they have at the moment, I really like the Vanilla shimmering body lotion, the Vanilla Bliss Lip Balm & Cranberry Joy Lip Balm.

What did you pick for Christmas?

1 Year of Blogging

1 year of blogging, 1 year blogiversary, happy birthday blog
Image from weheartit  edited by me
Happy Birthday my dear little blog!

Can you all believe that it has been one year now since I started writing this blog? I can't! It is said that time flies when you are having fun. I guess I have been having a lot of fun.
I started off this blog exactly 1 year ago today. At first I wasn't posting as much because I had too many lectures and too much studying to do. I remember my 1st follower and how I had absolutely no views or comments in the start. I didn't loose hope and I just kept writing.
I remember thinking, I just want to share with the world what I know... help someone, inspire someone, meet someone new. Well, I have met so many wonderful people through this blog and I would like to say a huge thank you. Thank you to those of you who have been there from the start, thank you to those who joined this lovely ride later on and have stuck around to show their support. It means the world to me that you would take the time to read the things that I write. This ride wouldn't be the same without you.
I remember my 1st post...I was so green and had no idea what to write about, so I decided to introduce myself. Haha. Here it is.

As it has been one year, I though I would give some advice to those of you who have just started blogging. Not like I'm an expert in any way, but just my personal tiny tips.

- Don't give up! If you like blogging, do it for yourself. Don't let the fact that you have low views or that nobody is commenting discourage you.

- Don't let blogging be just about the followers. If people like your blog, they will join. I know it is hard work, but we do it as a hobby so just have fun.

- Don't concentrate on the number of followers on another blog.

- And most of all. Don't EVER doubt yourself.

- Do post what you find interesting.

- Do join in with the community on twitter. So many amazing ladies out there.

This blog has made a great impact on my life. It helped me make friends all over the world, it helped me grow, it helped me better understand myself and so much more.
I really look forward to the future. I have no idea how long I will blog... Probably all my life, haha! I also have no idea how things will turn out on this blog, but I am hoping for the best. Once again thank you to all my readers, you make me smile. And welcome to my new readers. I hope you have fun with me.
To show my appreciation to you, I will be hosting a giveaway really soon. Don't forget to come back and join in. It is going to be absolutely fabulous!

Take a piece of my cyber cake, grab a cuppa and read some of my old posts.

So now that I have a reason to go get a cake, I am off!

Have a fab day my darlings. I love every one of you.

Shine bright like a diamond

Holiday dress picks

So it is that time of the year again. Yay! I absolutely adore Christmas and New Year.  The streets are beautiful with Christmas lights of different colors, everything is white all around, you can hear Christmas songs playing in the Mall and on the radio, the buzz of people shopping for presents at the mall, the way presents look all wrapped up... It is all so amazing.
I love to dress up gorgeous for Christmas and New Year. If you have still not gotten a Christmas dress, I think you should get it soon. Here are my picks which are all for under $100 to help you out. Next year is the year of the snake if I am not mistaken which is why the theme of my picks is sequin/glitter/shine.
There is a saying "The way you meet the New Year, that is how you will spend it". Well, I hope to meet the New Year looking absolutely fabulous and surrounded by the people I love and that love me. I wish the same for all of you. ♥

14 days till Christmas. Woohoo!

Monday Madness Blog Hop {#4}

Yay! It is just 15 days to Christmas. Who is excited? Is everyone done with their Christmas shopping? I was out yesterday and spent a fortune getting presents for my girls. So excited to give to them. :) {I love giving presents}.
Anyway, I have been really busy and stressing quite a bit. I haven't even had time to be on facebook or twitter as before, I miss all the lovely people on there. I know it happens to everyone at some point, and a lot of us forget about how to deal with the stress. Basically I always try to think of something I find pleasant or listen to my favorite songs. I just found this list and I think it is awesome! If I of them doesn't work out for you, try another.

Fur and Leather

Lately, I have been lusting over some fur items, maybe it is because of the winter and that we finally have snow. I don't really know. I also think I need a few leather items in my wardrobe. So I have put together a list of all the items I like and would love to get.
Fur and Leather
♥ Hannah Leather Lace Up Shoes Boots (Tribeca Shoes♥ Mango Faux Fur Belted Gilet With Knitted Back (Asos♥ Black Pleated Skater Skirt (River Island White Leather Vest (Qulit♥ Faux Fur Snood (Asos)♥

Hannah Leather Lace Up Boots
I have been lusting over these boots for a long time. I really really want them even if they are not for winter. unfortunately, they are not available in my size. So I have been waiting to see if they will be restocked. I think they are gorgeous and should most likely be comfortable as the heel is probably not as high as my beige look alikes.

Mango Faux Fur Belted Gilet With Knitted Back
I used to dislike these types of vest before, but recently I have wanted it more that anything. They are warm and you can put them on simple cardigans or shirts and it would look awesome. I saw something like this at the H&M Opening in Latvia in August and I have no idea why I did not get it. Wishing I did now.

Black Pleated Leather skirt.
I have seen a lot of outfits put together with this item. I am not totally sure of how it would look and if I would like it or not, but I would love to try it out. Might just fall in love with it, who knows. Black goes with anything. I am thinking of wearing it with a white shirt and stud neck cuffs if I get it. What do you think?

White Leather Vest
A while ago I came across quilt and visited their site. I am not a big fan of leather, so I didn't like much quite a few items as I cannot see myself wearing it in my day to day life. But I did very much like this vest. I think it would look great with jeans and a long sleeve top. It has studs on the neck which also makes it trendy.

Faux Fur Snood
Like I said, I am craving some fur items. This one looks absolutely gorgeous. It looks so soft and nice I could actually snuggle it.

What do you think? What items are you lusting over right now?
