15 Christmas Gift/ Stocking Filler Ideas For Her Under €15

Hello beauties. It's the end of November, and if you're unorganized like me in terms of Christmas Gifts, you're going to love reading the gift idea posts to come. The first one I've put together is a list of 15 Gift/ Stocking Filler Ideas For Her For Under 15. This list includes everything from makeup, skincare, haircare, jewellery and more.
15 Christmas Gift Ideas for her under €15

Skincare/ Bodycare

I've included The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion because with the colder months, our skin tends to dry up a lot more than in the summer. And since Argan oil is good for your hair, I'd bet it's definitely good for your skin. I've tried quite a few bodyshop products and they all smell and feel amazing. But if the lady you want a gift for doesn't like sweet smells, you'd have to pick a different product. Another product I think we ladies love is a good smelling shower gel, and the Lush Sweetie Pie is just that. Lush products are natural, smell great and this shower jelly will last forever. I've tried it and I love it!

Because there are a lot of ladies who suffer from acne prone skin, I have included the Cutagen Gentlcare Refreshing Wash Gel in this gift guide. You can read my review of the gel wash and if you think it will help your friend, why not get it. If you'd like 30% off Cutagen products, please use the code NIA33BB {code valid all through December}. There is nothing better than a great bath with bath bombs. Nothing! So if the lady in question has a bath tub at home {I don't, and you can't use it in the shower. Bummer!} then you can throw in the Bomb Cosmetics Little Box of Love as a stocking filler.

Makeup and other beauty goodies

Whether it's a lady that applies a full face of makeup daily or one which prefers a more natural look, there are still a few things we all need in our collection. One of those is a good lipstick, and I've heard so many great things about the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipsticks. You can read a review from my friend Miss Sunshine and Sparkle. I personally love the shade Hot Pepper as I think it's a great festive colour.

Another beauty item all girls need is nailpolish, because it makes your nails look pretty and give you a more polished look overall. The Essie nail polishes are a good pick for quality nail polishes. And even if you don't apply makeup daily, you still need makeup brushes, and the Real Techniques Core Collection is a fab choice for starters and experienced users {you can't have too many face brushes. If you wash your brushes regularly, you'd know what I mean}. Lastly, we need somewhere to keep all of our makeup when going out or travelling, and I am in love with this Cath Kidston Kingswood Rose Classic Box Makeup Case. If she likes mint or florals, she'd love it too.

Jewellery

Jewellery is a great gift or stocking filler. Of course there are probably some lucky ladies out there who will be getting a rock on their finger and replying "yes" this holiday season. But in this gift guide, I'm keeping it simple and affordable. And the Vanilla Shimmer Pink Agate Slice Necklace made of a slice of natural gemstone, the Imogen Statement Necklace or the super cute Kissing Giraffe Necklace are all great choices.

Haircare

Long healthy hair is beautiful and we all love it. I bet you've seen some people on the street even and wondered "gosh, her hair is gorgeous". So treat that female friend of yours to some much needed hair products/ tools. The Mane n Tail Herbal Gro Shampoo is great for hair growth and shiny hair. I've reviewed the Mane n Tail Deep Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner, so have a look before you decide. Another item I can no longer live without is my Tangle Teezer. This is literally the only brush/ comb I use for my hair as it detangles my hair and pulls out a lot less. I've got a full review of the tangle teezer if you'd like to have a look.

Other interesting gifts

Beauty products and jewellery aren't the only type of products you can present as gifts. You can also buy a great book depending on what genre she likes. If she likes romance novels, she'd probably appreciate the Girl Online by Zoe Sugg aka Zoella which recently came out and is available on amazon. You can also give her a gorgeous home decor item to store her jewellery like the Unicorn Jewellery Dish or the Bunny Ornament for Rings.

I hope this gift guide helps by giving you ideas.

Holiday Season Party Dresses {Sparkle}

Hello beauties, with the holiday season quickly coming our way, I'm sure we've all got a couple of parties to attend. To name a few, you've probably got your company's Christmas event, the Christmas party with your spouse's colleagues, Christmas Eve, New Years Eve and maybe some more in-between. This year I've decided to put together a series of posts showing you some gorgeous pieces for the party season and where to buy them. Personally, I'm still on the hunt for a new dress of Christmas Eve and one for New Years Eve. Some new shoes would be nice too {you can never have too many shoes}.

So here are my picks for the Sparkle Edition of The Holiday Season Party Dresses.

Chi-Chi Cameron Dress  |  Coloured Long Sleeve Wrap Front Sequin Covered Bodycon  |  Pink Sequin Print Bodycon Dress  |  Navy Sequin Zig Zag Split Maxi Dress  |  Metallic Sequin Bodycon Dress
Finding gorgeous full sequin dresses can be quite a challenge and after searching the web, I was able to come accross brands like Chi Chi Clothing, Ax Paris, Quiz Clothing and River Island for the best picks I'd wear myself for an evening out. The dresses range from £55 to £80 which I personally consider pricey for a dress you will not wear so often, but they are just so glam! I can already imagine how amazing I would look in either of these dresses.

With such sparkly dresses, I like to keep everything else rather simple. No statement necklaces or sparkly shoes. I would go for red accessories for the gold tone dresses {Chi-Chi Cameron Dress and the Metallic Sequin Bodycon}. Black accessories for the Coloured Long Sleeve Wrap Front Sequin Dress and the Navy Sequin Zig Zag Split Maxi Dress. And I'd opt for Navy accessories for the Pink Sequin Print Bodycon Dress, or just go with black as well.

I've got a few of these posts planned, but do let me know if there is a specific style of dresses/ playsuits/ jumpsuits you want me to put together.

Which of these dresses are your favourite?

Review: NV Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen

Hello beauties! I hope you all had a fab weekend. With it being Autumn, I've started using eyeliners a bit more often. And if you know me, you'll know I don't have the slightest idea how to use liquid eyeliner. Somehow, my eyelashes just get in the way and I end up with a big mess. So, my go to products for a cat eye are gel liners and eyeliner pens. This year, I've been opting more for eyeliner pens. I've reviewed the Essence 'Stays no matter what' waterproof eyeliner pen and the Catrice Eyeliner Pen Waterproof prior to this, so you can check them out.

In my previous post about another NV product, the NV Colour Watermelon Chunky Lip Crayon, I told you I have been given the opportunity to work with NV Colour. Another item I chose was the NV Black Cat Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen*.

NV Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen
NV Black Cat Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen Review
NV Colour Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen in Black Cat
NV Colour Black Cat Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen Swatch

The packaging of the NV Felt Tip Eyeliner Pen is just like every other eyeliner pen {it looks like a marker} but with matte packaging which I think if sort of the brands thing. I like it because it makes their products look more expensive. I got the product in a jet black shade called Black Cat, but it's also available in 2 other colours. The tip of the product is really sharp making it easy to draw the flick for a cat eye look. The eyeliner pen is very pigmented which I love, because you can achieve the black line without any fuss. I've had mine for about 4 weeks and the colour hasn't drained from it nor has the felt tip become soft.

The stay of this eyeliner pen is great. I've worn mine for a full day out and it was fine when I got back home late at night. Personally, I prefer waterproof eyeliners and mascaras as I'd rather not walk around with racoon eyes because I got in the rain or from all the heat and sweating in the Summer. The NV felt tip eyeliner pen isn't said to be waterproof, but I find it to be great quality in the sense that it doesn't smudge if it comes in contact with flowing water, but it will come off if you rub your eyes while it is wet.

Price wise, the NV felt tip eyeliner pen is more expensive than some of the other drugstore versions I've tried, but I think it's a great product and I'd recommend you give it a try.

Overall Summary
Price - £6.
Likes - pigmented, thin felt point, great staying power.
Dislikes - Pricey for a drugstore eyeliner pen, not waterproof.
Verdict - I would love the other colours.
Available - NV Colour Online.

Review: NYX Eyeshadow in Shimmer Golden

Hola guapas, how has your week been? I love gold eyeshadows. I think it's a flattering eyeshadow colour for my skintone and eye colour. Even though I'm more of a matte girl, I'd occasionally go for a glittery eyeshadow even for a day look and this is my favourite shimmer shade. I've had the NYX single eyeshadow in ES12 Golden for a while now and i'm really glad it's in my collection.

NYX single eyeshadow
NYX Single Eyeshadow in ES12 Golden
NYX Eyeshadow in ES12 Shimmer Gold
NYX Amber Golden Eyeshadow Swatch

The packaging of this eyeshadow is pretty simple. It's a square box with a single colour eyeshadow in it and no additional section for mirror, brushes or what not. It is light and easy to carry around with you on a trip. Say if I was going for Christmas vacation, I'd take this eyeshadow and a dark brown shade for my crease, or even just this eyeshadow and use bronzer for the crease. It is a pressed powder shadow which is a copper golden colour.

I've used this shadow in 2 different ways. You can apply the eyeshadow all over your eyelid right after your eyeshadow base. This will give it a more pigmented vibrant colour. Or you can apply your eyeshadow base and then use an eyeshadow the same colour as your eyelid as an all over base, and then apply the golden NYX eyeshadow. With this you'll achieve a more subtle look. I didn't notice a lot of fall out with this eyeshadow, but whatever fallout there is can easily be brushed off the cheeks & will give a bit of a highlight so I'm not usually worried about fall out with such shades.

Overall, I think it is a great colour for warm skintone, and worth every penny I spent on it. It's probably going to be a go to shade for me this holiday season.

Overall Summary
Price - approx. €6.25. {I think I got it on discount in the Latvian NYX store though}
Likes - Gorgeous copper gold shade, pigmented.
Dislikes - A bit of fall out.
Verdict - Love it.
Available - NYX Cosmetics UK

Have you tried this eyeshadow or another shade of the same product? What do you think?

Review: NV Watermelon Chunky Lip Crayon

Hello beauties. How was everyone's weekend? You all know I love a good lipstick, because even if you're wearing a simple makeup look {which is my everyday go to look}, you can still make it look so much better and interesting by adding a bright shade of lipstick. Recently I found out about the brand NV Colour and I've been given the opportunity to work with them.

NV Colour is a relatively new brand from the UK and they have quite a few eyes, lip and nail  products as well as some face products in so many lovely shades that I was torn when picking. One of the items I picked was the NV Watermelon Chunky Lip Crayon*.

NV Colour Lip Crayon
NV Colour Chunky Lip Crayon in Watermelon
NV Watermelon Chunky Lip Crayon
NV Watermelon Chunky Lip Crayon Swatch
NV Colour Chunky Lip Crayon in Watermelon applied

I love the packaging; the matte effect makes it look a lot more expensive than other high street brands. It is very easy to twist out the product, apply and then twist it back in. The lip crayon is very moisturizing and applies smoothly on the lips which means applying a lip butter prior is not necessary.  It's also very easy to use this product as a lip stain due to it's moisturizing nature. I just outline my lips with it and apply a dot in the middle of my top and lower lip and then spreading it with my finger {or a lip brush}. The watermelon shade is a pigmented bright pink with a bit of coral and I think it's one of the shades which looks flattering on most skin tones.

The stay of the product isn't very long, but that doesn't put me off. I applied it on my lips for an evening out, had 2 drinks and some food, and then had to reapply after that which was about 2.5 hours. In conclusion, I think it's a wonderful product to have in your collection as it's a lovely colour and can be applied both as a lip stick and a lip stain. And the moistuizing nature of the product makes it great for autumn when your lips dry a lot faster. NV Colour ships to Europe so be sure to have a look at their website.

Overall Summary
Price - £5.
Likes - pigmented and very moisturizing.
Dislikes - it doesn't last very long if you eat/drink but it doesn't bother me.
Verdict - I would love other colours.
Available - NV Colour Online.

5 Product Face Tag/ Challenge

Hello beauties, I've finally filmed my first video where I am actually bare faced and applying my makeup as the video progresses. Honestly, this was some scary stuff for me. I've lived and struggled with acne for a long time now, and even though I feel a lot better about my face after these few years of blogging, I am still a bit self cautious and would normally only leave the house without makeup in the summer when I'm going to the beach, or if I'm just walking the dog a few blocks.

But, I did find it in me to do the 5 product face tag/ challenge and show the world my face without makeup. I felt this is a good place to start as I'm hoping to do some more makeup looks in the near future.

5 Product Face Tag/ Challenge, Video showing you how to do your entire makeup with just 5 products

So here are all the products I used to create this look:

Catrice 3 in 1 Skin Adapting Makeup {020 medium skin}

I got this product recently and was very intrigued to try it out as it is a white cream with micro-encapsulated pigments, and them when you start blending it in it sort of adapts to your skin tone. I will have a full review of this within the next month.

NYX Matte Bronzer {MBB02 Deep}

I've reviewed this bronzer so be sure to check that out. I really love the colour as it isn't orangey like some, it's matte which is great for my oily skin and it blends easily. It is probably my favourite bronzer at this time.

NYX Auto Eyebrow Pencil {EP05 Dark Brown}

Filling in eyebrows is a must for me. Sometimes even when I'm going to the beach I'd still fill them in as they frame the face. I love this eyebrow pencil because it's easy to use and take with you. You can read my full review of the NYX auto eyebrow pencil.

Maybelline The Rocket Volum Express Waterproof Mascara

I feel like mascara is one of the most important products. Even though people tell me I have naturally dark and lovely eyelashes, I still always reach for mascara. One of my favourites is the Rocket Volum Mascara by Maybelline. I did a review of the regular version of this a while back, so you can have a read of that because this one is the same but just waterproof.

Essence Lipstick {Wear Berries}

I love essence lipsticks because they are affordable, quite pigmented and moisturizing. I've got only a few of these as I've had to cut down my crazy wondering into the drugstore and buying 3 mascaras just because I feel down. But soon, I'll be able to go back to that regular life and I'll be getting more shades.

Here is a video  of me applying the makeup. Be sure to give it a thumbs up if you liked it and subscribe to my channel.

I found this as a fun challenge because I ended up using my bronzer as an eyeshadow just to add some definition to the crease, and I really liked how it looked. Almost just like applying a matte eyeshadow. It was actually great to see I can actually do my makeup with just 5 products even though I usually use about 9-10 {when I'm not doing eyeshadow and what not}. So packing for a trip should be fairly easy from now on if I have limited space.

Wasn't sure if I was going to tag anyone, but later decided to. So I tag A Beauty Moment, Glambeautys, Raining Cake, Whispers From Angels and Miss Sunshine and Sparkle. I would also like to tag anyone who reads this post and watches the video.

What do you think of this look? Is there any look you'd like to see?

A Very Berry Spiked Look

A very berry spiked outfit
Jumper* - Wearall   |   Jeans - Primark   |  Boots - Primark   |   Jewellery - Ebay, Vanilla Shimmer, H&M
Wine spiked jumper
How to style a wine jumper
Wine for autumn

Hello beauties, I can now confirm that it is sweater weather in Barcelona. It's gotten quite cold and I've been reaching for jumpers and jeans everyday now. A while back I was sent this lovely Tia Spike Shoulder Jumper* from Wearall and I finally got to wear it this weekend when we went for a walk and a bit of table tennis {in which I lost 4 games out of 6}

The Jumper is a lovely wine colour which I think is perfect for autumn and is made of huge knits. It is tightly woven and doesn't have a lot of holes which makes it really warm. It is a loose jumper which is a look I have been loving a lot since last year. I love the spikes on the shoulders as it gives the jumper a bit of edge and makes it a lot more interesting than just plain wine jumpers. This is my second jumper with such shoulder pads and I really like how they look.

I decided to bring out my dark side in this outfit so I styled it with black jeans and black boots. The jeans are just regular black skinny jeans but I love them as they fit really well {it's sometimes a problem to find great jeans}. The boots are not my usual style but I thought I'd try something new plus they are really comfy. With the outfit being rather simple, I thought it needed something in front and since it's November I went for my mustache necklace, then added a couple of midi rings. I think this jumper would also look great with a white or back collar, so that's probably how I'll style it next. How would you style this jumper for a casual day or for an evening out?

What do you think of the outfit? Have you gotten anything from Wearall?

Review: Bee Natural Mango Lip Balm

Hola guapas, how's your week been? With the weather getting colder, I've been reaching a bit more often for my lip balm. And I've been trying out a new one that was sent to me by my friend Luchessa of Beauty Expression by Luchessa {check out my instagram picture to see what else she sent}. It's the Bee Natural Mango Lip Balm and the first thing I liked when I got it was that it's natural.

Bee Natural Lip Balm
Bee Natural Lips balm for chapped lips
Bee Natural 100% natural Mango Lip Balm
Bee Natural Lip Balm

The Bee Natural lip balms come in your standard balm tubes which you have to twist in order to apply the balm. I personally like this for balms I put in my bag on the go because it means I don't have to dip my dirty hands into the tin. This balm is said to be made of 100% natural ingredients including made of beeswax, aloe extract, vitamin e and essential oils.

The lip balm smells amazing! When applied on the lips, the lipbalm is very soft and moisturizes my lips instantly. Its lasts quite a while if I don't eat it all off, but that's not tempting because the balm doesn't have any taste. Which personally I'd had loved if it tasted as great as it smelled, but not sure how natural it would be in that case.

The balm is available in these other flavours: Peppermint, Pomegranate, Acai Berry and Key Lime. If you like lip balms with shimmer, then they have Pearl and Rose. To sum it up, I love the balm and cannot wait to get the Pomegranate, Acai Berry and Key Lime as I think they would have gorgeous scents.

Overall Summary
Price - approx. €1.95.
Likes - natural ingredients, moisturizes lips.
Dislikes - doesn't have a taste, but that's not a big problem.
Verdict - I would love other flavours.
Available - Mostly drugstores in Germany.

Review: Mondss Underarm Wear

Hello beauties. I think it's finally Autumn here in Barcelona since it's gotten cold, which means sweater weather. A while back, I found out about Mondss Underarm Wear* which is a product for preventing perspiration marks and damaging marks from building up on your gorgeous clothing. When I was contacted and offered the possibility to review the product, I was intrigued as to what they would look like and how it would feel going all day with them.

Mondss Underarm Wear
Solution to perspiration
Avoid perspiration stains on your clothes by using Mondss Underarm Wear
Mondss Underarm Wear packaging

Personally, I think Jane McTernan's idea is genius because I know lots of us have had the situation where we get really hot while working and the unfortunate case of wearing a blouse which shows the unpleasant mark of our perspiration. Mondss Underarm Wear is designed to prevent such situations.

The brand says to apply the pads directly to your underarms. It sticks to your skin and should absorb the perspiration which prevents marks on your clothes as well as seal in the odour. The product is sold in a box with 10 pieces of disposable pads, which makes that enough for 5 days.

I've tried using the product twice and I think the pads are shaped conveniently for the underarms. It feels sort of weird at first having something in your underarms, but after a while you get used to it. The product does prevent having any stains on your clothes but I found the odour still gets slightly through the pad and it stuck too much to my skin and was hard to remove afterwards. I was left with glue on my skin and that is not a good look for me.

So overall, I believe it is a great concept and I've seen good reviews about the product but it didn't work for me.

Overall Summary
Price - approx. €9.99.
Likes - prevents perspiration stains on your clothes.
Dislikes - adhered too much to my skin and was hard to take off.
Verdict - Not repurchasing.
Available - Mondss website.
